Bertie: This week it's both of us!

no dental chew for you

Bertie: This is a serious post...

Oliver: Which is no fun.

Bertie: ... but it is important, so there you go. Importance beats fun. There are some dental chews that have been recalled here in Australia, because they could make us very sick. They are called VeggieDent, and I had my eye on them for future chewing opportunities.

Oliver: I put them on the shopping list. You have to make additions to the shopping list, if you want to get a well-rounded treat cupboard.

Bertie: well, you won't be getting these. They could give us acquired Fanconi syndrome, which is basically kidney failure, and has also been found in doggies who get meaty chews made in China.

Oliver: I shall have to do some googling to see what else I can put on the shopping list. Can't let the treat cupboard to get low.

Bertie: We read about this here. Sasha pointed us to it, so she's going to be looking for a new chew too!

Bertie: Me again!

Hiding Places

Bertie: I need a safe place for my rawhide chew bone.

Oliver: I'll help you.

Bertie: Actually, the safe place is away from you, so maybe your help is not required.

Oliver: I have several hiding spots. Under the bed is a good one. And in those shoes that are over there. You can put lots of treasures in them.

Bertie: I've found my spot. Look away now.

Oliver: I shall find it, you know.

Bertie: Nope. I've hidden it in the bed. It is the perfect place.

Oliver: Um, I think you need to practice the art of hiding things.

Oliver: I was born in Queensland, where it is always nice and warm and not cold like it is down here in Victoria. When I was 8 weeks old, I flew down on a plane all by myself.

Yes it is a cat carrier. At least I had my elephant.

Oliver: Sometimes, when I'm lucky, I get the almost empty yoghurt pots. I clean them out so well you'd never know they ever had yoghurt in them.

Cleaning the bottom is the trickiest bit.
